Tell us about your other degrees or qualifications.
I have an undergraduate degree in human geography, which at its core is the study of the interaction between humans and their environments. This led very naturally into a Master of Architecture and a lifelong passion and interest in the interplay between people, culture, cities, buildings, and landscapes.
What specific interests within the field of architecture do you have?
I am interested in the ways that architecture can frame and augment the human experience, ranging broadly in scale from the domestic interior realm to the overarching structure of our cities and infrastructure.
Is there an architecturally significant city you would like to visit?
I’d like to visit Tokyo, Japan to learn more about how the interface of ancient historic cultural references, modern construction methods, and the dense concentration of human population have created such a dynamic city.
