The Westhills Plexxis building is a groundbreaking office development that sets a new standard for sustainability, workplace well-being, and architectural excellence on Vancouver Island. The building design concept is based on two imperatives—to contribute positively to the pedestrian and urban experience while being sensitive to the existing scale of the commercial buildings in the immediate vicinity. The resulting building form defines the urban edge at grade with commercial spaces, a prominent main entrance, and an open-air parking structure on the south, ensuring seamless integration into its surroundings.

Above the podium, individually scaled offices provide a flexible and productive work environment. Designed with clean and elegant building massing, the structure features generous expanses of glass and an expressive roofline, creating a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. The upper floor is set back to minimize the impact of the building's height and boasts an expansive rooftop terrace with large roof overhangs, offering employees a unique outdoor workspace that enhances well-being and collaboration. Sustainability is at the heart of the project, incorporating high-efficiency HVAC systems, LED lighting, low-VOC materials, and a high-performance building envelope that minimizes energy consumption while ensuring superior indoor air quality.
