The Austin Sewage Lift Station will be located in the Gorge Park in Saanich, just below Austin Ave. As part of the design process, Cascadia Architects have assisted with the public process and associated design presentations. Although the project is primarily of technical nature, due to the proposed setting in a public park with adjacent pedestrian walkways, it was important to find the balance between building functionality and an amenity that will be supported by the general public.
